Parents are strongly encouraged to apply before the Round 1 deadline of January 29, 2016. 90% of funds are disbursed at this time and your chances of receiving a scholarship are higher.

Haniel was recently accepted as an Academy Student for Humpherys School of Musical Theatre. He recently auditioned for and was cast in TUTS production of James in the Giant Peach. Come out and support Haniel at Miller Outdoor Theatre June 8 - 11.
CREDIT CARD FEES
On May 23, 2015, the Texas State Legislature passed HB 1881 allowing PK-12 private schools to charge parents the credit card processing fee instead of the school absorbing the cost. The bill went into effect Jan. 1, 2016. Last year, the credit card fees at St. Edward totaled more than $35,000. Beginning Friday, April 1, 2016 the parents will begin paying the credit card transaction fee of 3.9% on all invoices paid online through Rediker and on all credit card transactions paid at the Church office. The online invoices will still display the original invoice amount followed by the transaction fee which should be clearly labeled as a separate amount. This transaction fee will represent the 3.9% fee charged by the credit card company. You may still pay in cash or check without any additional fees. Thank You for your understanding and cooperation.
For those volunteers who took "Protecting God's Children" in the year 2010, it will be time to take the refresher course, "Keeping the Promise Alive" in order to continue with volunteering. You must wait 5 years after your initial training session to register for the refresher course.
If you took "PGC" on 9/10/10, you will not be able to register until after 9/10/15. You must register online at virtus.org, as you did for your initial course. If you have any questions, or need to know when you took "PGC", please email Bernice Havens email@example.com
If you took your initial training prior to 2010, you are no longer eligible to volunteer until you complete the Refresher course.
Volunteers are not eligible to begin volunteering until their background check clears. (This usually takes at least 2 - 3 weeks from the time you attend the training session.)
