Dear St. Edward Parents,

On behalf of the faculty and staff I would like to wish all of you a Happy New Year! As you know, we are approaching the end of the First Semester of school. With that said, our Junior High students are in the midst of studying for their mid-term exams next week. The teachers and I would like to remind your Junior High students to be sure to study and get plenty of rest for next week's mid-terms.

We have many activities planned for the month of January, so please take a look at the calendar to mark Used Uniform Sale, Spelling Bee dates, the "Shake, Rattle and Roll" Auction Breakfast Drop-off, Martin Luther King Holiday, Report Cards, Hundredth Day of School, and Catholic School's Week Liturgy Mass!

Our Gala committee headed by Sandra Ortiz, Ruth Laake and Katey Middleton have been working feverishly to complete plans for the Sock Hop and Gala and Auction. We hope that you will prayerfully consider participating in our largest fundraiser of the year and helping to make a difference. Proceeds go to educational programs, operational costs, tuition assistance and technology. Catholic Schools Week is fast approaching beginning January 31, 2010 with our all school Mass at 9:30am. We hope you will join us and bring any prospective families interested in attending St. Edward with you.
