It
is school time again here at St. Edward! We know you have many
options when selecting your child's educational opportunities
and we are so happy that you have chosen St. Edward Catholic
School. I believe that by all of us working together, we can
make this a very successful school year that fosters our children's
mind, heart and spirit.
On Tuesday, August 17, a mandatory Parent Orientation
meeting will be held for both returning families and new families
of St. Edward. We will meet promptly at 9:00 a.m. with some
light refreshments served from 8:30-9:00 in the Parish Life
Center.
Fr. Joe Gietl will lead us in prayer followed by an introduction
of Teachers and Staff. Our meeting will include goals/expectations,
new uniform Liturgy changes, clinic procedures, drop off/pick
up procedures, sports program, PTO, Booster, etc. At the conclusion
of our meeting, parents and students will proceed to the Elementary
and Junior High buildings to meet and greet their teacher. Please
be reminded that school doors will remain locked until after
the meeting due to teachers and staff in attendance at the meeting.
Students must be supervised by parents at all times during their
visit.
PTO, Booster Club, and Scouts will also have information tables
set up and we ask that you stop by and visit to see how you
can get involved.
